Summa Love Surfing & Yoga LLC was founded in 2005 by Bryan Zinski, Monmouth University Alumni. He first started teaching surfing in 2000 in Deal, NJ through Spellbinders Surf Shop at Phillip’s Beach and also on the North Shore of Oahu through Tropical Rush Surf Shop before Summa Love started in 2005. Bryan started surfing in 1990 in Ocean City, NJ before moving to Long Branch in 1999 to attend Monmouth University. Bryan is a board member of Surfer’s Environmental Alliance, a committee member with Clean Ocean Action and a father of two children. We are proud to be one of Monmouth County’s longest running, most established surf camps with over 100 years combined surfing experience. We are also proudly accredited through the National Surf Schools & Instructor Association for professionalism. Our mission is for our students to safely have fun in a low pressured learning to surf environment, to make new friends and to teach students how to BECOME SURFERS by:
- Safely surfing on their own with proper ocean safety knowledge
- Always progressing their surfing
- Making life long friends with their peers
- Environmental awareness
- Acting as peace makers
- Becoming a positive, confident person throughout life
- Helping give back to communities with volunteer programs
