Hi! I’m Rina and I am 15. I’ve been surfing for 5 years with Summa Love, and the beach is my favorite place to be. I’ve been playing the drums since I was 6 years old, and music has always been the best outlet. Another way I love to release is going to the gym. Specifically, I’ve been doing CrossFit for a while now and have competed in some CrossFit competitions with many more to come. What I like most about surfing is that no wave is the same as the last, and each one has it’s own special flair. My most memorable wave was probably in Tamarindo, Costa Rica.
Have been surfing since I moved to NJ 12 years ago. I love to traveling, this past spring I spent 4 months in California surfing as much as possible. My favorite wave is in Playa Guiones, Costa Rica. Favorite food is sushi. Least favorite food is Sea Urchin. The thing I like most about surfing is the freedoms you feel out on the ocean... and of course the feeling you get after a killer wave. My goal is to finish school at U of M this upcoming school year and pursue a career in Sports Managment.
Surfing Experience: I’ve been surfing all my life, first learning how to surf as a student in Summa Love. I’ve recently discovered my love for the mountains and am going to college up in Plymouth State University. Going back to NJ for the summer is my get away from the mountains, and going back to college is my get away from the crowds and beach. My goals include constantly working on myself as a person, getting better at rock climbing, and especially surfing. I love nature and always want more time to be outside. :))
11 years of surfing experience, favorite wave: holyoke Ave in beach haven NJ, favorite food: chicken quesadillas. I’m an EMT
I’ve lived in NJ for my entire life and grew up around the ocean so I definitely love to hang out in the water! My favorite food is pasta and my least favorite food is tuna. In the future I want to go to college and eventually become a PA!
I'm an athlete in every sport. When I'm not surfing, I'm a junior in OTHS and wish I was surfing! You'll always find me eating candy and salad and applying too much sunblock. See you on the beach!
Surfing Experience: 15 years of surfing Travel: Traveled to Costa Rica France Belgium Germany Favorite Food: Love a good bean burrito with pineapple Goals: Going to school in Florida and hope to finish that in the next couple of years
My daily life consists of surfing and being in the ocean. I’ve been surfing for 9 years and have been surfing year around these past 2 years. I’m a very outgoing person who hates sitting around, and I always have to be doing something. Right now I’m in highschool looking for a job and working in the ocean is like a dream job for me.
